Jamie joined the Optimum Physical Therapy team in June of 2014. Jamie is currently Optimum’s post-doctoral orthopaedic resident, through Arcadia University. As an orthopaedic resident he has had extensive training in the treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions including post-concussion syndrome, TMJ dysfunction, and overuse syndromes in running and throwing athletes. He achieved his clinical doctorate with distinction in physical therapy (DPT) from Arcadia University. He is currently performing research with Arcadia at Optimum to assist in the development of the first functional performance measure for the shoulder. Jamie has experience working as a neurologic and vestibular rehabilitation physiotherapist in London, England. He works as an educator as well as a physical therapist at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital’s pro-bono physical therapy clinic. There, he helps Arcadia University’s DPT students evaluate and treat the uninsured and underinsured population of West Philadelphia.
